Washes of turquoise and teal create the effect of light filtering through clear water as tall, delicate fronds rise upward like feathery sea grasses, their fine lines barely contained by the gentle currents. Dotted among them are clusters of tiny, violet flowers. Hints of yellow-green flicker through the background, suggesting the dapple of sunlight or the quiet sparkle of plankton. The overall effect is both lush and tranquil: a hidden meadow of aquatic 'flowers' swaying in the hushed rhythm of the sea.
This picture is supplied varnished with an ultraviolet light-protective varnish which protects against fading and discolouration with time. It is supplied complete with a 1 cm mid-blue wooden floating frame. These frames are like shallow boxes or trays in which the picture is mounted with a 3-4 mm 'shadow gap' between the frame and picture. The pictures are affixed using velcro so can be repositioned within the frame or removed to flush mount the frame on a wall. The artwork is supplied ready to hang with D-rings and cord. It comes complete with a certificate of authenticity. .
