Description
This vibrant painting on stretched canvas measures 60 cm tall by 80 cm wide or 2 foot tall by 2 foot 8 inches wide. It depicts a cluster of stylised flowers floating against a deep, star-speckled background. The blossoms, rendered in shades of lavender and violet with textured, bubble-like petals, seem to radiate softly from reddish-pink centres. The stems and leaves are painted in cool greens, also covered in circular, cell-like patterns, giving them an otherworldly texture. The dark blue backdrop is dotted with colourful specks suggesting a cosmic or galactic setting. The overall effect merges botanical and cosmic imagery, evoking the feeling of flowers blooming in space or an alien garden.
This picture is supplied varnished with an ultraviolet light-protective varnish which protects against fading and discolouration with time. It is supplied complete with a 1 cm black wooden floating frame. These frames are like shallow boxes or trays in which the picture is mounted with a 3-4 mm 'shadow gap' between the frame and picture. The pictures are affixed using velcro so can be repositioned within the frame or removed to flush mount the frame on a wall. The artwork is supplied ready to hang with D-rings and cord.
