Severn Estuary

Audio Description
Description
This is a large collage on stretched canvas. The canvas measures 60 cm tall by 80 cm wide or 2 foot tall by 2 foot 8 inches wide. It captures a striking view of the River Severn, Britain’s longest river, as it flows toward the Atlantic Ocean. From a perspective in Gloucestershire, the river’s vast expanse is framed by the distant Severn Bridge, which arches gracefully over the water. The layers of texture and composition evoke the natural beauty and serene power of this iconic landscape, blending the elements of land, water, and architecture. The image has been collaged using custom-made gelli plate printed deli papers.
