In this abstract acrylic artwork on paper, rayed flowers in shimmering gold stand out against a subtle backdrop of green foliage. The delicate contrast between the luminous flowers and the soft, muted greenery creates a harmonious balance, evoking a sense of calm and natural elegance within the composition. This artwork started life as a print using heat-treated plastic/foil which then suggested this image to me. The result was then worked in acrylic pens. The process is detailed in this video.
