Sway

In this lime green and black abstract acrylic artwork on paper, the fluid movement of seaweed in the ocean is subtly suggested through complex, flowing, organic shapes. The composition evokes the rhythmic sway of underwater currents, creating a sense of depth and tranquility within the sea’s mysterious and ever-changing environment. This artwork started life using the plastic wrap technique whereby creased plastic film is impressed into watery acrylic paint creating interesting 'veins' and organic forms. This was then worked with acrylic pens.
