Spiky Blooms

In this collage/print/acrylic drawing on paper, spiked orange flowers stand out against a complex, abstract pattern of green foliage. The bold contrast between the fiery orange blooms and the intricate, layered greens creates a dynamic interplay of colour and form, evoking a sense of vibrant, natural energy within a visually complex landscape. This artwork started life as a print using heat-treated plastic/foil which then suggested this image to me. It was further worked with acrylic pens and collage. The process is detailed in this video.
