Virtual Exhibition: Winter

It’s December 2023 and here in the UK we’ve just had the first snow after several days of heavy frosts. It’s winter, and although it always goes on for longer than I would like, it has its own bleak beauty and is atmospheric. I hope I’ve captured what winter conjures up.

What is a Floating Frame?

Floating frames are not supplied, but you may opt to get a floating frame for stretched canvas art. They are a 'tray' into which the canvas is glued leaving a space (ie: appearing to 'float') between the frame and canvas. The frames are available in all widths and colours and you can vary the 'gap' as per your preferences too. Most online and retail frame suppliers supply floating frames.

Gallery Walls

Why stop at one picture? Starting with two complementary pieces (shown here Little One and Next Chapter) up to walls entirely covered with an assortment of artwork, a gallery wall is an attractive and effective way to cover a blank wall.
