As we approach Samhain and All Hallows’ Eve, when folklore tells us the veil between worlds grows thin, it feels like the perfect time to wander into the uncanny landscapes of The Unfamiliar Garden.
In these otherworldly mixed-media collages, botanical forms become strange, mysterious and dreamlike and the familiar becomes wonderfully unfamiliar.
In this video, I share the making of these finished artworks, creating gardens that exist somewhere between the natural world and the realms of imagination.
