Who is Alison Adams?

Alison Adams is a multi-award-winning British mixed media and collage artist based in the beautiful Cotswolds, in the South West of England. Inspired by nature, she creates colourful contemporary artwork featuring botanical forms, birds, wildlife and imaginative compositions using acrylic paint, collage and texture.

Her original artworks are held in private collections throughout the UK and internationally. Her colourful nature-inspired artworks have been exhibited in galleries across the UK and are collected by buyers who appreciate contemporary botanical and wildlife art.

What type of artwork do you create?

I specialise in original mixed media and collage art inspired by the natural world. My work combines acrylic paint, hand-painted collage papers, texture and intuitive mark-making to create contemporary botanical art, wildlife art and decorative nature-inspired wall art.

Every piece is individually designed and created by hand in my Cotswolds studio.

Are your artworks original?

Yes. Every original artwork is created entirely by me and is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. Once sold, it will never be reproduced as another original.

Selected artworks are also available as high-quality fine art prints.

What materials do you use?

My mixed media artworks may include:

  • Acrylic paint
  • Handmade collage papers
  • Printed papers
  • Textured surfaces
  • Archival adhesives
  • Professional artist-quality materials

Each artwork is created using carefully selected materials designed to provide lasting colour and durability.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes. I welcome commissions for homes, offices, healthcare environments and commercial spaces.
