About Alison Adams
Alison Adams is a multi-award-winning British mixed media and collage artist based in the Cotswolds. Her work has been featured in national and international publications including Cotswold Life, Ethics & Human Research, and exhibited at the Corinium Museum Art Galleryand other galleries across the UK.
Inspired by the forms, colours and rhythms of the natural world, she creates richly layered artworks that blend acrylic paint, collage and intuitive mark-making into distinctive contemporary compositions. Her work explores the meeting point of observation and imagination, drawing on botanical forms, wildlife and landscape to create vibrant, uplifting pieces that celebrate beauty, creativity and the restorative power of nature. For more refer to her About page.
Her original artworks are held in private collections and are available alongside fine art prints, books and greeting cards through her website.
Artist Statement
"My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world, interpreted through layers of paint, collage and intuitive processes. Rather than reproducing what I see, I aim to capture a feeling — a sense of wonder, movement and possibility. Each piece evolves organically, allowing unexpected textures, colours and forms to emerge. The result is artwork that invites viewers to pause, look closely and discover something new each time they return."
