This mixed media collage on stretched canvas presents a vibrant and layered visual composition that feels both organic and dynamic. The collage uses soft yet lively hues — pinks, peaches, olive greens, mustards, yellows and golds. The collage combines elements such as paper fragments, newspaper clippings, and painted textures, to create a sense of motion and growth and to create a sense of depth.  The translucent layering of colours creates a luminous effect, giving the impression of light filtering through leaves or petals. The variegated gold roundels in the centre capture the light and look different at different angles and under different lights. The oval and petal-like forms radiate outward from the centre, suggesting an upward or blooming motion — fitting for the title Noboru, which means 'to rise' or 'to ascend' in Japanese. This sense of movement evokes themes of growth, renewal, or transcendence. The collage blends the abstract and natural to create an uplifting and harmonious mood, as if capturing a moment of flourishing life or spiritual emergence.

This artwork was a finalist in Accent Gallery's Pastel Tones 2026 Exhibition.

This Gustav Klimt-inspired textured mixed-media abstract artwork  evokes a luminous, dreamlike presence - suggestive of a wing, waves or a mountain range unfolding - surrounded by constellations of circular forms, recalling celestial bodies or whispered thoughts suspended in motion. The palette of lavender, aqua, pink and gold nods to Klimt’s ornamental richness while remaining distinctly contemporary and introspective. This series of six wood panel reliefs explores the interplay between permanence and decay through the ancient symbol of the Celtic knot. Each knot — endlessly looping, with no beginning or end — sits in tension with the visual texture of oxidised metal, evoking transformation, memory, and the beauty of age. The subtle, oxidised patinas on the knots reflect a variety of metals, each telling its own quiet story of weathering and endurance. Behind it, the backdrop is darker and more diffuse, composed of smoky, mottled textures in blue-grey tones. Radiating shapes behind the bird suggest wings or echoes, like a shadow expanding outward, reinforcing a sense of mystery and atmosphere.
