During my recent Flora, Fauna and Fantasy art exhibition, new subscribers to my newsletter had the chance to win a ‘Square Foot’ artwork through a raffle — one prize for those who signed up in person at the Corinium Museum, and another for those who subscribed online. I’m delighted to share that Lin, who entered online, is pictured below with her choice of Golden Bloom, while Lori, who visited the exhibition, selected Blue Bowl as shown below..
My Square Foot gallery showcases a variety of affordable original art (£95 each) that is all on 12 x 12 inch stretched canvases with finished sides, but unframed to keep costs (and postage) down - and to leave the option whether and how to frame to the purchasor.
Shown here is a gallery wall made up of Square Foot artwork - Pollinator's Halo, Pink Orchid, Sassy Seedheads, Paper Petals, Nuthatch and Blue Blossoms in a Patterned Vase. All different - but unified by grouping them together in identical ivory floating frames. This is actually a very affordable way to cover wall space with unique original art - and you can mix it up with artefacts, mirrors, framed documents and other items to keep it quirky, interesting, distinctive and personal.
