Arboreal Array

Arboreal Array is a vibrant exploration of nature’s dreamscape, rendered in acrylic on paper. This piece abstracts fantastical woodland vegetation, blurring the line between the real and the imagined. Vivid hues and layered textures evoke a sense of movement and mystery, as if the forest itself is alive and shifting. The surreal botanical forms invite viewers to wander through an otherworldly grove — where trees breathe, leaves shimmer with hidden light, and the natural world is reimagined through a lens of whimsy and wonder. This artwork was created using the plastic wrap technique whereby crumpled plastic film is impressed into watery acrylic paint which then suggested this piece to me which was elaborated with acrylic pens.
