The Making of Restless Steed

I created this collage, Restless Steed, to celebrate The Cheltenham Festival (often called the Cheltenham Races), which is the highlight of the National Hunt racing calendar. It is held in early March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire, and spans four days of elite jump racing, attracting the best horses, jockeys, and trainers from Britain and Ireland. Known for its electric atmosphere, passionate crowds, and fierce Anglo-Irish rivalry, Cheltenham combines top-class sport, tradition, and spectacle. It forms the first of many events known as 'the season' and marks the start of spring for many after what has been a long, wet winter here in the UK. This artwork is currently on exhibition and for sale in the Our Animal Friends gallery.
