In this collage on card, the striking head of a blue agapanthus flower is set against a torn blue patterned paper background. The bloom is rendered in cut paper fragments in deep violet, lavender, cobalt, and blue-black hues. The individual buds and bell-shaped blossoms are stylised but clearly identifiable, each one created with a mix of solid, photographic, and patterned paper.
