This collage on stretched canvas is a lush, jewel-encrusted vision of paradise. At its heart, a naked Adam and Eve stand entwined with a serpent, framed in a golden window. Surrounding them bursts a kaleidoscope of creation: animals, insects, birds, and flowers in ecstatic abundance. This artwork was inspired by the rich and gilded art of Byzantium. The ornate jewelled border suggests both sacred opulence and human desire, blurring the line between innocence and temptation.
