Hazel Herald

Part of my Aureole Collection, Hazel Herald depicts a watchful red squirrel which takes centre stage, framed within a rich, ornamental aureole. Surrounded by leaves, warm autumnal tones and intricate pattern, the piece celebrates one of Britain’s most elusive woodland creatures. This collage has the character of a woodland emblem — part portrait, part heraldic fantasy.
